Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Tattershall Primary School has an established and successful Special Needs Department whose aim is to improve the learning attainment of pupils with Special Education Needs. This is achieved by providing a friendly, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

SEND Information Report

Please take the time to read our SEND Information Report below. It includes a lot of information about how we support pupils and their families at our school.

Teaching Assistants

Our teaching assistants are experienced and well qualified. They support the learning of the children both outside and within the classroom environment. Specialised programmes can also be delivered on 1:1 or a small group basis.

Provision

All pupils on the SEND Register have an Individual Learning Plan.

When required , input can be requested from outside agencies such as:

  • Specialist Teacher Service
  • Educational Psychologist,
  • Speech & Language therapists and other medical professionals

Progress

Children across the School with additional needs attending Tattershall Primary make good progress and the gaps are closed.

Please contact our SENCO if you need any further information or would like to discuss any aspect of SEND provision at our school.
