Our Governing Body

Our Governing Body includes volunteers from all areas of the community in which we work and live. This enables us to use our experiences and knowledge to support the pupils and staff when creating and sustaining a happy and successful learning environment for everybody at Tattershall Primary School.

Governors are not expected to be involved in the day-to-day management and administration of the school, but rather to set strategic plans for the school and to provide the Headteacher with guidance on general principles.

Our role is very varied from helping to make decisions about budget allocation, health and safety where the school buildings are concerned, to monitoring subject delivery across the curriculum.

Although we meet as a whole body, we each serve on a sub-committee to ensure that we are involved with both the management of resources and the maintenance of standards and well-being at the school.

All the Governors feel a real sense of privilege at being part of Tattershall Primary School and enjoy working to make sure that the education provided for the children is the best it can be.
